Halco Roosta popper 160 Bonito

Halco Roosta Popper 160 is designed and built to get the maximum noise and splash out of a medium sized popper while retaining superior casting capability, excellent strength and high durability.

The Halco Roosta 160 Popper‘s distinctive shape is known to be a market leader for very good reason – “they catch fish”.

Halco’s highly experienced development team has further refined the shape to its current form to give a long and extremely noisy bubble trail that streams from either side of the popper. This allows the top and bottom leading edges of the deeply cupped face to bite into the water and keep it tracking straight whilst allowing the cavitation bubbles and the subsequent noise to escape via the contoured sides.

Strength and durability has been a key to Halco’s success over the years and the Roosta Popper 160 continues in that tradition. As it’s name suggests the popper is 160mm long and weighs in at 78g. It is armed with super strong 4/0 Mustad Trebles for fantastic hook setting in the field.

It uses Halco’s famous Fish Rings that has an extra turn in the wire so nowhere in the ring is there a single strand of wire, giving the ring a 90kg strength rating while retaining small diameter to allow the maximum amount of free movement for the trebles.
