TARPON X - Travel fishing rod (4 pieces 70cm)

$279.00 CAD

TARPON X, it's a rod that we have "designed" to respond to the lack of a travel rod on the market that can meet the needs for exotic fishing. It will fit inside a standard suitcase of 30 inch height. TarponX rod was created for lures casting (Popper, Stickbait, hardbait, casting jig, flapper…) or live fishing, ideal for Tarpon, Trevally, Tuna, Rooster, Cubera fishing. It has a very good reserve of power, combining flexibility and lightness. It is made of 24T+30T carbon and reinforced with 1K “weave carbon” braided fiber. The quality of material and how each section are designed allowed us to push the load of the rod to 10KG in "Dry lift". There are few rods in section that can support such a load, each section fits one into the other forming a uniform whole with a regular "Bend". During our tests, we push the load to 12 kg. Simplicity, efficiency, no frills!
