Fox Permit Trek

$249.99 CAD

This very low diameter lightweight blank with its very fast tip action has been designed specifically for casting freeline crabs to cruising or ‘bobbing’ permits. When matched with medium size Fixed Spool/Spinning Reel and loaded with 10 to 25 lb breaking strain monofilament or braid you can make very long and accurate casts.

Whether you are fishing from a boat or wading the flats, this rod is ideally suited for both disciplines. The special action is such that you could almost skip your bait low across the surface of the water to intercept any cruising fish.

Fitted throughout with Fox SIC's guides which are ceramic lined for durability and to guard against grooving especially from braided lines, the rod balances out perfectly with its full EVA handle which has a high grip finish.

The Fox Reel Seat is of a screw up design and a fixed upper hood to ensure a positive and secure fitting of the reel.

Although initially designed for targeting big permit this adequately doubles up as a fun rod when fishing for Jack crevalle, snapper, small tarpon, Barracuda.

Constructed from 4 sections the Permit Trek Spin has a transportation length of 25 inches and comes complete with its very own smart zipped hard travel case tube for ultimate protection and ease of carriage.
